Haut Aura'd a partagé la scène avec Loren Connors, Barn Owl, Deaf Center, Work/Death, Scott Tuma, The Body, parmi plusieurs d'autres.

Xela is the brainchild of Manchester, England-based multi-instrumentalist/producer John Twells, the moniker under which he records atmospheric, eclectic, and often dark electronic music. Twells’ father was a guitarist and he developed a love of music early on, playing flute and saxophone as a child and moving on to guitar in his teens. After playing in various bands, Twells began making music on his own, finding more inspiration in electronic music than the metal, punk, and indie influences of his previous work. Twells sent out demos of his work, which caught the ear of Metamatics’ Lee Norris, who asked him to contribute a track to a compilation and released Xela’s 2003 debut mini-album, For Frosty Mornings and Summer Nights, on the Neo Ouija label. Around that time, Twells began collaborating with Gabriel Morley, aka Logreybeam, as the duo Yasume. Tangled Wool, a collection of love songs that also reintroduced guitars into Twells’ music, was released on City Centre Offices in 2004. Two years later, The Dead Sea, a concept album about a ship attacked by zombies, arrived on Twells’ own Type label (which also issued releases by Logreybeam and Khonnor). Influenced by prog, sea shanties, Italian horror soundtracks, and noise, the album also featured beautifully grim visuals by artist Matthew Woodson. That year, Yasume’s homage to David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti’s influence on Twells and Morley, Where We’re from the Birds Sing a Pretty Song, was also released. For Frosty Mornings and Summer Nights was reissued by Type in 2007, and In Bocca al Lupo, which was originally composed for a gallery installation revolving around the concept of fear, arrived in 2008. During that time, Twells also released many limited-edition projects on imprints including Digitalis, SMTG, and Static Caravan.
High Aura'd is the nom du plume of Massachusetts based John Kolodij.
Herein, he explores sound, volume and depth. Forged in the outer rings of Boston in 2009, High Aura'd was born of a mutual respect for what had come before and a longing for a timely future. Influenced as much by Richard Serra and Robert Smithson as Loren Connors and Lichens, he set foot on a path of enlightenment through self exploration and innovation; trying to capture space, time, and raw emotion. Guitars of all sorts, acoustic, lap steel, field recordings are utilized. Performances are often accompanied by film projection. High Aura'd has shared the stage with Loren Connors, Barn Owl, Deaf Center, Work/Death, Scott Tuma, The Body, among many others. Releases include an EP last Fall on Reverb Worship, and a split with Andre Foisy of Locrian on Stunned Records, to be followed this Winter by a 12" record for Bathetic Records.
Byron Westbrook is an artist working with the dynamic quality of physical space using multi-channel sound, images, and objects. His installation-based work explores unique and participatory listening formats utilizing common technology. He has presented at venues such as Tonic, Roulette, The Stone, Diapason Gallery, Issue Project Room, Experimental Intermedia, Exit Art Gallery, (NYC), Les Voûtes (FR), Wien Konzerthaus (Austria), O’ (Milano), Cave12 (Geneva), NonEvent (Boston), Sonic Circuits Festival (DC), Institute of Intermedia (CZ). He has shared performance bills with Tony Conrad, Phill Niblock, Jandek, Oren Ambarchi, Lawrence English, Keith Fullerton Whitman, Greg Davis, Maria Chavez, Alessandro Bosetti, Jason Kahn, Jon Mueller, Tetuzi Akiyama, among many others. Westbrook has also collaborated with Paris-based composer and former Kitchen curator Rhys Chatham in the drone metal group Essentialist (Table of the Elements), as well as performed in the ensembles of Phill Niblock, Rhys Chatham, Glenn Branca, Duane Pitre, David Watson and Jonathan Kane. He has worked as technical coordinator of Phill Niblock’s Experimental Intermedia Foundation since 2004. In 2007, he was the recipient of the Jerome Foundation Emerging Artists Commission through Roulette Intermedium. In 2008 he was an artist in residence at Hotel Pupik at Sclhoss Schrattenberg. In 2010 he was an artist in residence at Diapason Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. A CD of CORRIDORS was released in 2010 on Sedimental Records. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY and is completing MFA studies in sound at Bard College.
Le Révélateur is the solo moniker for Montreal-based electronic musician Roger Tellier-Craig. Created in 2008 to explore an ongoing fascination with electronic music, it’s a resonant beast blasting its way through labyrinths of eroded nostalgia filled with psychedelic synthesizer waves and repetitive sun-drenched pulses. After releasing Motion Flares on the San Francisco label Root Strata in 2010, his new LP, Fictions, was released by Emeralds member Steve Hauschildt on his Gneiss Things imprint in July 2011. In a live setting, Le Révélateur becomes an electronic audio-visual experience with the help of video-artist Sabrina Ratté. Together they’ve performed a number of shows, playing in Montreal, Paris and San Francisco, at the Root Strata-curated On Land festival.
